A commission for Nottingham Trent University.
Creating a piece of work that makes use of the laser cutting machine.
This is a repeated pattern design that is cut into a stencil and them spray painted.
Big thanks to Sue Turton for all her help.
(usually thing though , got kicked out of the building for using spray paints)

You will be sent in the post a sick bag to draw on (in black pen/ink only) which you bring back with you on the night, this will then have a night light put in it which will help light the space for the first part of the evening. (you will also need to bring a jam jar with each bag, clean with no label)
(the night light will be supplied)
There is no brief as to what goes on the sick bag, can be as simple or as complicated as you like. Anything from a tag, sketch, poem, hand print, potato print ??

Art at The Alley Cafe //// September
During the month of September I have on show a set of recent illustration based on freaky creatures around the globe.(Ink work on found maps)
I will also be painting the walls outside the bar during the week starting the 6th September so if you are passing come and say hello.Plus the bar does really good food and drink.

During the month of October 2010 the Alley Cafe presents a collection of original land and seascapes mainly in acrylic by the Oxfordshire artist Christine Erica Bainbridge. Fascinated by nature and the effect of colour and light on mood, she moves from representational to the abstract and the mystical.
